What has become infinitely clear to me (and many others) is that president-elect Donald Trump is a textbook narcissist.
The Textbook Narcissist
He’s always out for himself. Always. As such, Trump needs his all-forgiving, truth-oblivious legion of supporters behind him.
Of course, he doesn’t need to have everybody behind him. Who would he fight?
Who could he shift blame to? Who could he scapegoat?
At the very core of a narcissistic personality is the divide and conquer mentality.
Trump’s smart enough to know that his constantly shifting of positions give him leverage.
If he doesn’t stand for something specific you can’t hold him to anything.
That might work in business to some extent and get you a successful if smarmy reputation too.
However, as POTUS it’s down right dangerous.
Reflections of A Narcissist
We’ve seen Trump fan the flames of segregation, misogyny and fear again and again. This is old school manipulation.
His tactics highlight a man who derives his entire sense of self from purely external sources. The psychological fragility this creates is mammoth.
Fortunately, most men are not like our president-elect.
However, I do think Trump reflects much of what is stored deep inside the minds of men.
What I’m trying to do here is create awareness in you as a man.
Understanding where you may be a little like President-elect Trump is critical to evolving as a man and advancing your relationships with the women.
And frankly, the more you evolve the more all men evolve, That’s how mass human consciousness works.
So, if you’re not entirely comfortable discovering where you are alike, maybe you guys can use Trump as a cautionary tale.
Do what seems so difficult for Trump…. Question Yourself.
Here’s a few to consider:
Deep down, do you believe women are here to serve men?
Do you view immigrants as free loaders or criminals?
Do you feel entitled to take a little extra?
You’re an exception, right?
Maybe you sometimes think you’re superior to other people?
These are important questions to ask yourself as a man. Why?
Your relationships with women are at stake. Your evolution as a man is laying in wait.
The growth of consciousness in your fellow men hangs in the balance.
George Washington, letter to Benjamin Harrison, October 10, 1784:
“A people… who are possessed of the spirit of commerce, who see and who will pursue their advantages may achieve almost anything.”
