Gender Polarity - Never Change Your Mind to Please a Woman

This is very important to understand gentlemen.

There is a BIG DIFFERENCE between changing your mind JUST to please a woman.

It’s an entirely different thing to change your mind just to please a woman. Even if that woman is your wife or girlfriend.

Women can be wonderful confidantes and navigators in a man’s life. So often times when you discuss something with her she may say something that changes your perspective.

There’s nothing wrong with that!

If that’s the case, then make a new decision based on your new perspective.

Just don’t change your mind simply to please a woman though. This will steal your power as a man.

A man should never betray his own deepest knowledge and intuition in order to please a woman.

Sometimes it makes sense to “go with it” but not if you feel compromised. Remember, as a man you are the leader of your relationship and in fact, the leader of your life. Many would say that men are ‘natural born leaders’ and that manhood requires you pick up that mantle.

Why This Maneuver Makes You Weaker

With the way gender dynamics works, you put yourself and her in a weakened position when you change your mind just to please a woman.

Why? Because the both of you will probably grow resentful of each other. She may feel cheated because you were disingenuous and you will feel resentment because you did compromise your sense of self.

This ultimately shuts down intimacy and a sense of freedom in your relationship.

Deida writes in The Way of The Superior Man;

‘You should always listen to your woman, and then make your own decision.”

Wow.

When you choose to go with her suggestion just to please a woman then in effect you’re saying, “I don’t trust myself and my own wisdom.” Ouch.

This means, you are weakening yourself. You’re telling yourself a lie. You are weakening your woman’s trust in you. Why should she trust you if you don’t trust yourself?

This is a corrosive dynamic in any relationship.

When you deny your truth to please a woman, everyone feels your lack of authenticity.

For many too, you will get less respect from them too.

Your friends, children, and business colleagues may like you and love you, but they won’t trust you.

This is like pounding nails into your manhood. It can only make you weaker.

What’s more, is that your own sense of inauthenticity will burden your capacity to act with clarity. This is a death blow to making good decisions, which means others will trust and respect you even less when you make bad decisions.

This Is How To Get It Right

This is how you turn it all around and make sure you earn the respect and trust you deserve.

When you listen to your woman and take everything she says into account and filter it through your own critical thinking process to make your own best decision, you are acting in accordance with your core.

Why else have a woman in your life if she doesn’t bring you value outside of the bedroom? Right?

So when you listen her, but consider what she says through your own thought process you can be confident that it’s YOUR decision that you’re making..

Consideration is key. Your lady wants to be heard. She also wants you to be the man she knows you are. So take what she says seriously as the trusted advisor she is. Then make your own decision.

A confident, mature, serene woman won’t punish you for going your own way.

But What If You’re Wrong?

If you’re wrong, then you’ll learn from it. You’ll have gained wisdom and knowledge. That’s never a bad thing.

A man who is willing to be wrong and grow from it is a very strong man.

You can continue to hone the relationship with your deepest self and trust that it’s leading you in the right way.

This will serve to gain respect and trust from others too as they see how in touch with your own inner guidance you are and how strong that makes you.

Giving up the tendency to change your mind just to please a woman will prevent you from blaming her if things go wrong and you’ll avoid feeling disempowered if she is right.

Since you denied yourself the opportunity to act from your truest place and grow from your mistakes.
