Summary
Chaplin’s Tramp is struggling to get by when he encounters a boxing training camp looking for a sparring partner. He discovers a horseshoe and decides it might bring him luck, placing it inside his boxing glove. The trick works, and his unexpected victory leads to a much bigger fight against the world champion. Meanwhile, a crooked gambler tries to get Chaplin to throw the match, while Chaplin becomes romantically involved with the trainer’s daughter.
