Somananda of the Somananda Tantra School (on Youtube)…. explains exactly what he means by ‘masculinity as a spiritual pathway in itself’ – It’s one of the best definitions I’ve heard to date.
He strikes me as a very balanced and yes… a very masculine man.
It’s important to understand the meaning of certain words.
For example, lingham.
What Is Lingam?
Lingam is the Sanskrit word for penis. It is a spiritual term denoting the male genitalia and it broadly represents fertility.
The lingam is worshipped in many esoteric cultures as the symbol of Shiva, the supreme being or ultimate God of Tantra and Yoga.
The truth is that the genitals, for both men and women, are powerful organs and storehouses of energy. They are also home to many blockages, stress, and unresolved emotions.
These are exactly the reasons why sexual energy is so important to use in a responsible manner.
Sexual energy is so powerful, it needs a disciplined hand to wield it. Without that, it will turn in on itself and abuse and destroy itself.
This is not about judgement. This has everything to do with how you want to use you life force energy.
It’s not free and it’s not forever. Life energy that is, which includes sexual energy.
We are all given a certain amount of life energy that needs to be used and replenished regularly until it runs out. So what are you going to spend it on?
Owning your masculine energy really helps. Have a listen and find out more
