You may have heard about Tantra Yoga Orgasms and other types of salacious matters in regard to Tantra and how it views sexuality. Unfortunately, the power of Tantra Yoga has been skewed and corrupted by many in the West who have focused mostly on the sexual branch of Tantra.
I am not a practitioner of Tantra. I have no certification in this field. However, I have many years of study in metaphysics or what is sometimes called “new age” philosophies.
So, my aim with this post (as with others) is to help eradicate the misunderstandings.
What is Tantra?
The word “Tantra” literally means a technique or a technology. These techniques come from within. It’s a restructuring of our energy, thoughts and biology in a natural way.
In the current understanding of Tantra in our society, the word “Tantra” has come to mean a sexual practice that is based on breathing, looking deeply into each another’s eyes and lengthy sex sessions.
And to be honest, you could do all of those things and still be practicing Tantra. It’s just so much more than that!
So when we look at Tantra Yoga orgasms, it’s through the simple lens of yoga. It’s H-O-W it’s done that makes Tantra Yoga orgasms possible.
The human mechanism is a composite of the physical body – an accumulation of food consumed; the mental body – which can be considered the ‘software’ and memory parts of ourselves and of course, the energy body.
The energy body in the fundamental layer upon which the other two parts are housed. Beyond this is non-physical.
As I often say, “Energy is Everything.”
Here’s something that will boost your passion TONIGHT!
The Biggest Barriers
When we look at practicing Tantra Yoga, it’s really our compulsive and even cyclical nature of the mind and body which create the biggest problems.
Practicing Tantra Yoga is to go beyond the repetitive, compulsive tendencies of the body and mind.
Tantra helps us to learn how to use our body, our minds and life energy to be as effective as possible on this planet.
It’s Not About The Sex
Tantra is not about unbridled sexuality, as assumed by many.
Sexuality is a fundamental instinct instilled in our bodies to ensure the species perpetuates itself. At the same time, one must know the limitations of our biology and hence, sexuality.
The desire to reach or touch upon other dimensions is where Yoga and Tantra become relevant.
In Tantra, it’ s NOT about using sexuality to grow. Tantra Yoga is multi-faceted.
Unfortunately, there are people who are attracted to the Tantra Yoga orgasm experience for the wrong reasons.
Sexual needs can be fulfilled by forming relationships. Using spiritual processes to fulfill sexual compulsions is irresponsible, reckless and pretty gross. You will end up corrupting yourself. This is a principle of life energy.
